Itinerary
It is a part time tour. It starts in the morning and ends in the early afternoon, around 02:30 p.m.
They will leave the hotel around 08h10 towards the village of Chinchero, soon after the Salineiras de Maras and finally the archaeological site of Moray.
Maras is a village located 48 kilometers from Cusco and is situated at an altitude of 3028 meters above sea level. Maras was an important town during the colonization, because it supplied salt to all the southern mountain range.
The Salineira de Maras (Salt Mines) presents thousands of salt pools, from where the natural salt that comes from the mountain “Qaqawiñay” is extracted. The salt of maras is extracted from the Inca epoch to the present day.
Moray is situated at an altitude of 3385 meters above sea level. Moray presents huge circular terraces (called Andenes), which overlap concentrically in the form of an Amphitheater. These terraces had the function of a large agricultural laboratory, where the Incas experimented and obtained incredible improvements in agriculture, which was the main labor activity and the basis of their economic development.
In each of these terraces it is possible to check different microclimates. In the lower parts of the terraces the highest temperatures can be observed and vice versa, making it an excelente laboratory for perfecting crops.

Itinerary
It is a part-time tour where you can learn a little about the history and culture of the Inca’s time.
The tour will begin in the afternoon, starting at 01:15 p.m., so please enjoy a nice lunch or bring snacks as you will be returning to the hotel around 6:30 p.m.
We will visit the beautiful Cathedral of Cusco which is also a museum that shows religious works done by natives in the time of the Spanish rule. This museum shows similarities between the Inca and European culture, from the 16th to the 18th centuries, influenced by the Catholic Church, creating a style of painting called “Cusquenha School”.
After the Cathedral, we will visit the Qoricancha, or Temple of the Sun. Qoricancha means “Golden Surroundings”. The temple of Qoricancha is in the current temple and precinct of Santo Domingo. The Qoricancha was the most important religious and architectural center during the Inca empire. People migrated here to give maximum worship to the sun god. The Qoricancha at that time was considered the center of the Andean universe within the Andean worldview.
After our visit to the Temple of the Sun we will continue to four archaeological sites: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.
Sacsayhuaman
Sacsayhuaman means “Head of the Puma”. It is also known as the second house of the Sun, the first being Qoricancha. When the Spaniards arrived in 1533 they were astonished in front of such an immense megalithic monument of stone walls of enormous weight. Sacsayhuaman was built on top of a hill, and even today, those who visit it have a magnificent view of the city of Cusco.
Qenqo
Qenqo means “labyrinth”, the name was given by Spanish settlers. Perhaps they named it ‘’labyrinth’’ because of its channels “zigzagging” or by other smaller corridors that are in its interior. During the Inca period this ruin was a temple for public ceremonies in contemplation to the sun god, the Moon and the Stars.
Pukapukara
Pukapukara means “Red Fortress”, the name is given by the color of the earth where the archaeological group is located. The scholars think that because of its position overlooking the Cusco valley, it was at least used as a military base.
Tambomachay
Tambomachay means place of rest. Tambomachay boasts complex architecture adapted to the natural landscape; consisting of a series of aqueducts, channels and several waterfalls that flow between the stones. Tambomachay was first built for the ‘’God’’ of water and then as the rest home of the Inca Yupanqui.
Finishing our tour, we will return to Cusco around 06:20 pm. During our return to the hotel, those who prefer can go down in the Main Square and enjoy shopping and dinner.

Lima
The Capital of Peru is located on the central coast of the Peruvian coast. Before the arrival of the Spaniards, Lima already had important religious centers like Pachacamac, that is in the environs of the city.
Lima was founded in 1535 by Francisco Pizarro, calling it “Ciudad de Los Reyes” which roughly means “City of Kings”, and became one of the most important in Latin America.
The buildings built in colonial times are in the center of the city and are one of the main tourist attractions. The richness and beauty of the colonial period stays alive in the squares, streets, mansions, churches and monuments that show its colonial past.
It is noteworthy that Lima has an unparalleled gastronomy, for the creativity of its dishes made with quality products originating notably from Peru. This is why Lima is considered a Gastronomic Heritage of Latin America.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Lima – Transfer to Hotel
Arriving in Lima, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the hotel where you will be staying. Once at the hotel you will receive information about Lima, places to see, restaurants and the tours that will take place.

Day 2 – Modern and Colonial City Tour in Lima
Day 2 will start with a nice breakfast. After breakfast we will take our City Tour through the city of Lima, which begins around 9am.
We will visit the Olivar Park, Huaca Pucllana (a pyramidal pre-Inca ceremonial temple that survived Lima’s urban sprawl), the Love Park, Plaza de Armas, the Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, the Palace Arzobispal and to finish visit the Catacombs of the Convent of St. Francis, which was a very important Religious Temple in the seventeenth century.
The afternoon will be free to enjoy the cuisine and culture in the city of Lima.
Day 3 – Pachacamac Tour and Magic Water Circuit
Shortly after breakfast, around 09:00 a.m, we will pick you up at your hotel. We will start our tour to the archaeological site of Pachacamac, which is located about 45 km from the capital of Peru, Lima.
Before arriving at Pachacamac, we will stop in the traditional district of Barranco, where you can enjoy the Central Park, “La Bajda de Los Baños”, the Old Library, “Los Ranchos” or colonial mansions and the traditional Bridge of Sighs.
Pachacamac was one of the most important archaeological sites of the Peruvian coast. It was a sanctuary where thousands of pilgrims made their visits to worship the god Pachacamac and the sun god, for Pachacamac was an oracle capable of predicting the future and controlling the movements of the earth.
After our tour, we will return to the hotel around 1:30 p.m.
At the end of the afternoon, around 6:00 p.m., we will continue our tour. Our staff will stop by the hotel to pick you up, and we will start our night tour through Lima. We will see the great spectacle of the Magical Water Circuit, where water, light and music blend together creating an incredible show for our eyes.
We will end our night tour with a dinner and dance show in a typical Peruvian restaurant.
Day 4 – Departure from Lima and arrival in Cusco – Transfer to Hotel
At the appointed time our staff will pick you up at your hotel to take you to Lima airport.
When arriving in Cusco our staff will be waiting at the airport to take you to your hotel where you will be staying. On the way to the hotel you will receive some relevant information about Cusco, such as altitude, climate, etc. In the hotel will be served a tea made with coca leaves. This tea will help to alleviate the effects of altitude greatly.
During the next few minutes our team will give you important information about Cusco, such as: tourist attractions to visit in your free time, and especially about the tours that will take place.
Tips for restaurants, money exchange offices and great places for shopping will also be talked about at this time.
As Cusco is at an altitude of 3,400 meters (over 11,000 feet) above sea level, it is extremely advisable to rest for at least two hours, once you arrive at your hotel.
Day 5 - Cusco Archaeological Tour
On the second day you will Wake up early with a good breakfast. After breakfast you can go out to enjoy your free time, getting to know the city of Cusco and its beauties. As the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco is a city that breathes history, art and a spectacular culture.
The tour will begin in the afternoon, starting at 1:15 p.m., so please enjoy a nice lunch or bring snacks as you will be returning to the hotel around 6:30 p.m.
When the Spaniards arrived in 1533, they were astonished in front of such an immense megalithic monument of stone walls of enormous weight.
Finishing second day we will return to Cusco around 18:20. During our return to the hotel, those who prefer, can go to Plaza de Armas, and enjoy shopping, drinks, people watching and dinner.
Day 6 – Sacred Valley of The Incas
Today we will leave for another adventure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Remember that you will have to check out at the hotel in Cusco, because you will have an overnight stay in the village of Aguas Calientes.
It is recommended that you pack your bags in advance, as we will be leaving the hotel around 07:40 a.m.
For this tour we advise you take only a backpack or a small handbag with the necessary items (change of clothes, toiletries, camera, documents) for your night in Aguas Calientes. The big suitcases will have to stay in the “Guarda-Volumes” of the hotel in Cusco.
We will leave for the city of Pisac, located approximately 33 km from Cusco. Pisac means “Partridge”, the name was given because the base where it is built has the shape of this bird.
The archaeological site is located on top of the mountain, with admirable sets of terraces that surround the mountains. These terraces were formerly used to cultivate tubers and vegetables.
Pisac has a handicraft market located in the main square of the city, where you can find ceramics, paintings, textiles and silverware all perfect for gifts or souvenirs. After the tour of the ruins of Pisac, you will have free time to get to know the town and also to shop.
Our adventure is just beginning!
After Pisac, we will leave for Urubamba, where we will stop for our lunch (lunch is included in the tour). During the trip to the restaurant we will go through different types of landscapes, each one more spectacular than the last.
After our lunch we will leave for Ollantaytambo. Located at an altitude of 2792 meters above sea level, the name comes from the word “Ollanta”, which was an Inca captain and “Tambo”, which means city that offers lodging and food to travelers. During the Inca empire, Ollantaytambo was a strategic military, agricultural and religious center dedicated to the worship of water.
On the third day, our tour ends at around 4:00 p.m. at 6:30 p.m. you will NEED to be at the train station of Ollantaytambo to travel to Aguas Calientes (also called Machu Picchu Pueblo).
Until your trains boarding time, you will have the time to learn a little more about the city of Ollantaytambo, our team will guide you in the best way with multiple options available.
Arriving at Aguas Calientes, a representative of our team will be waiting to take you to the hotel. When you are in the hotel at last, all the information regarding the long awaited day, “Machu Picchu”, will be passed to you!!!
Enjoy your evening and go out to learn a little about the town of Aguas Calientes. The city is full of hotels, restaurants and also small markets of handicrafts, jewelry etc.
- Overnight: Aguas Calientes
Day 7 – Machu Picchu
Let’s wake up early today again, for good reason! At the scheduled time our representative will lead you towards the buses that take the short route to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
Do not forget to bring your camera, sunscreen and bottle of water. Also, please be courteous with the trash.
Machu Picchu in Quechua means “Old Mountain” and is at an altitude of 2430 meters above sea level. Considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Machu Picchu is one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World.
Upon arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu you will have a guided tour from 02:00 to 02:30, where you can learn a little more about Inca culture and customs. In Machu Picchu, it is possible to see pyramids on steps, temples, solar calendars and several other constructions in stone and adobe.
After the tour of Machu Picchu you will need to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, and depending on the time you can have lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo station or Poroy station, depending on what is on your ticket.

Arequipa
Arequipa lies at 2,335 meters above sea level, located in the Southwest of the Country and has much to offer its visitors. Built in the year 1540, with sillar stone (volcanic stone), it has churches, temples and mansions of baroque-mestizo style, which gives it a peculiar aspect.
In Arequipa the most representative construction of the colonial era was the Monastery of Santa Catalina, which was built in the year 1579 and its interior presents the architecture and beauty of the colonial period.
Due to its geographical location Arequipa is surrounded by volcanoes. The most important is the Misti volcano, which can be seen from the city of Arequipa.
One of the most visited places in the region of Arequipa is the Valle Del Colca and its Cañon, with a depth of 3,200 meters. It is one of the deepest canyons in the world, and in this place one can appreciate the flight of the Condor (the bird that represents the religion of the Inca).

We start our tour on the Floating Island of Uros. This Island is built by “Totora”, a species of wild cane (some people call it reed), which grows in the same lake. It is said that these Islands can last up to 30 years, as long as the correct maintenance conditions are established. “El Pueblo del Lago”, as the inhabitants of these Islands are called, also use Totoras to make handicrafts, their rafts and even for medicinal use.
Continuing with our tour, we will go to Taquile Island, which is located in Lake Titicaca. The inhabitants of this Island still maintain elements inherited from the pre-Inca cultures, like, for example, the tradition of “Tecer”. Men and women of all ages still have this custom. It is noteworthy that this tradition of Tecer served for Taquile to be honored by UNESCO as “MASTER WORK OF THE ORAL AND INTANGIBLE HERITAGE OF HUMANITY”. We will have lunch on this same Island (Included with the Tour).
After our tour of the Islands of Uros and Taquile we will return to the port, where we will have our transfer back to the hotel.
Day 9 – Puno – Sun Route to Cusco - Puka Pukara, La Raya, Ruins of Raqchi and Church of Andahuaylillas.
Around 06:40 a.m you will leave from Puno to Cusco, on a tourist bus.
During the trip you can enjoy the landscapes of the South Valley of Cusco. The trip takes approximately 10 hours and during the whole trip we will make some stops:
- Our first tourist attraction is in Pukará. This place stands out for presenting impressive monolithic sculptures, ceramics of multiple colors, anthropomorphic images, and so on.
- The next destination is La Raya, which is the border of the regions of Cusco and Puno. It is the highest point of the trip, where they will reach an altitude of 4,338 meters. Here we will make a stop to take photographs and enjoy the Andes’ ridges, covered with snow for most of the year.
- Our next stop will be for our buffet lunch (included in the package), which will take place in a restaurant in the city of Sicuani.
- Continuing with our next destination, we arrive at the Raqchi Ruins. Located in the district of San Pedro, in the province of Canchis, Raqchi, also called “Temple of Wiracocha”. It was composed of several different areas, each with a specific function. The “Wiracocha Temple” was the most important building built in honor of the Wiracocha God.
- During our second stop you will visit the Church of Andahualillas. In a small settlement in the province of Quispicanchi, the Church of San Pedro de Andahualillas, also called the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas”, was built by the Jesuits in the 16th century.
- Around 17:00 we will arrive in Cusco. The shuttle will be waiting for you and will take you to the hotel. During the ride you will receive information about the city of Cusco and in the hotel our staff will pass information about the tours.

Day 10 – Tour Cusco Archaeological
On the second day you will Wake up early with a good breakfast. After breakfast you can go out to enjoy your free time, getting to know the city of Cusco and its beauties. As the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco is a city that breathes history, art and a spectacular culture.
The tour will begin in the afternoon, starting at 01:15 p.m., so please enjoy a nice lunch or bring snacks as you will be returning to the hotel around 06:30 p.m.
When the Spaniards arrived in 1533, they were astonished in front of such an immense megalithic monument of stone walls of enormous weight.
Finishing second day we will return to Cusco around 06:20 a.m. During our return to the hotel, those who prefer, can go to Plaza de Armas, and enjoy shopping, drinks, people watching and dinner.
Day 11 – Sacred Valley of The Incas
Today we will leave for another adventure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Remember that you will have to check out at the hotel in Cusco, because you will have an overnight stay in the village of Aguas Calientes.

On the third day, our tour ends at around 04:00 p.m. at 06:30 p.m. you will NEED to be at the train station of Ollantaytambo to travel to Aguas Calientes (also called Machu Picchu Pueblo).
Until your trains boarding time, you will have the time to learn a little more about the city of Ollantaytambo, our team will guide you in the best way with multiple options available.

The city of Cusco is located in the Andes Mountains and is 3,400 meters above sea level. It was the capital of the Inca Empire (TAHUANTINSUYO), an empire that expanded into southern Colombia, northeast Argentina, and southern Chile. Cusco was the most important city of this great empire, considered “the center of the World” because it was the political, religious and economic center in the Incas time.
Cusco currently is like a museum city with full of history and culture, which conveys at a glance this magic that surrounds it and that you can feel walking through its streets, squares, enjoying its landscapes and transporting it to the past.
Itinerary
DAY 1 – Arrival in Cusco – Transfer to Hotel
Day 2 – Tour Cusco Archaeological
On the second day you will Wake up early with a good breakfast. After breakfast you can go out to enjoy your free time, getting to know the city of Cusco and its beauties. As the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco is a city that breathes history, art and a spectacular culture.
The tour will begin in the afternoon, starting at 01:15 p.m., so please enjoy a nice lunch or bring snacks as you will be returning to the hotel around 06:30 p.m.
When the Spaniards arrived in 1533, they were astonished in front of such an immense megalithic monument of stone walls of enormous weight.
Finishing second day we will return to Cusco around 06:20 p.m. During our return to the hotel, those who prefer, can go to Plaza de Armas, and enjoy shopping, drinks, people watching and dinner.
Day 3 – Sacred Valley of The Incas
